She is around 40 lbs I believe and has the energy of a golden. She is not going to be stuck out there the whole day, she can go inside if she wants. Yes I will walk it everyday and give it training.

But, do you think it will need more space or would it be okay?

He is pretty big and when he sees a tree, he pulls me to it to smell it. I can’t stop him. I say No. I try to hold him back. Also he jumps out of the car when we get to the park. He will not wait. He pushes me out the door. I tried to pause and he goes nuts and gets more frantic. Help.

I’ll be bringing a 1 year old yorkshire terrier from a friend. I’ve heard from her that the yorkie has not received much attention, and has not been housebroken… Does anyone have good tips on how to

*housebreak a 1 year old yorkshire terrier
*keep him calm under new environment
*food/vet/grooming/etc…

Why does my akita puppy cry a lot?

Bear is 5 months old and is a very intelligent, healthy, and strong dog. I have back problems and I cannot walk him because he insists on lunging ahead and pulling me. Right now it is -40 degrees here and I can’t put him out in the yard to exercise for more than a few minutes.

So his natural oils on his fur don’t get washed off.

And when he is don’t getting a bath, how can I speed up the drying process? Do I just sit there and brush him?

He hasn’t had a bath with shampoo in about… 2 years?
Possibly longer…
We just usually rinse him off with water when he gets dirty.
Or we just let him go swimming.

I’m purchasing a AKC black lab puppy this week from a very long line of field champions. I put a deposite down on one of the males but having second thoughts. He is the largest male in the litter but has about 6 white hairs on his chest. I’m going to be entering him in field trials and possibly stud service. Are the white hairs going to be a problem in the field trials or in stud service. Or should I get the smaller male that is solid black?
